About the Artist

On certain days, my brain is equivalent to a bowl of marshmallows - fluffy and immobile. Living with depression means I have some good days and some bad days. This doesn't stop me from creating though as I'm rather persistent and stubborn. From this Bowl of Marshmallows spawns whimsical worlds, fantastical creatures, and nature-inspired designs.

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Growing up, I frequently played in the dirt and drew on everything from walls to napkins. I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Studio Art (with an emphasis in illustration and fiber arts) from San Jose State University, where I studied under international fiber artist, Consuelo Jimenez Underwood.

California has always been my home, but a new path in life has brought me to Paris, France, where I'm further developing myself as an illustrator and fiber artist. Inspiration comes from my travels, imagination, nature, and my family.

Languages spoken include English, Teochew, and Cantonese. French is currently in-progress.
